Our school installed solar panels this term. The new system will produce 6,000 kilowatt-hours of energy yearly and is hoped to reduce school running costs, redirecting savings to education. The new system will also serve as an educational tool for students, providing real-time energy data which the students can monitor to gain hands-on learning about renewable energy, sustainability, and the science behind solar power.
